ABOUT GALENOS RESEARCH

Galenos Research is a comprehensive clinical research center in Dallas, TX, working in conjunction with the office of Rafael Canadas, M.D. Our center conducts Phase II-IV human clinical trials for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Our research center provides a dual service. To the biopharmaceutical industry our center provides study participants for their clinical trials that in turn generate critical data needed to assess the safety and effectiveness of the company’s product to the Food and Drug Administration.

To the patients we offered the latest therapeutic advances for their medical conditions.  Our research center has worked with a majority of the major pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations since our opening in 2000. Since then we have continued to develop this close partnership as we do more studies with them now and in the future.

• Lipid Disorders (high cholesterol, high triglycerides)
• Obesity / Metabolic Syndrome

Many of our study patients are recruited from Dr. Rafael Canadas own private practice with many completing multiple research studies under our investigator.

Our Staff

Our staff consist of experienced team members dedicated to clinical research.

The research manager, works behind the scenes getting the studies, making sure that the coordinators job is running smoothly and backing them up in any way she can.

The coordinators see the patients, complete paperwork, assist monitors at scheduled visits, and assist the PI in making sure that the research is run according to the protocol and that all regulations are followed. They are the backbone of the research.

The administrative assistant will be your first contact. She greets the patients upon arrival, takes the phone calls, schedules the patients, gives the reminder calls, and is always there to help you in anyway she can.
